Last night was our first look at the finished concert film Tell Your Friends! based on the long-running weekly show in New York City, and it looked amazing. There were great performances by a diverse group of comedians and the film did an excellent job of capturing the energy and excitement of the concert, which took place at the Bell House in “beautiful downtown Gowanus” Brooklyn.

The trailer for the film is up on YouTube, if you’d like to get an idea of how the film uses split screen, artist interviews and more to not only convey the live energy of the show but also to give a sense of the scene that supports weekly comedy shows throughout New York.

The producers are working on distribution for the film as we speak and we’re sure it will soon be seen on a cable network near you and available on DVD.  We’ll keep you posted. Until then, check out the trailer and Tell Your Friends!

Tell Your Friends! The Movie features performances by Reggie Watts, Christian Finnegan, Kurt Braunholer & Kristen Schaal, Leo Allen, Rob Paravonian, Liam McEneaney, and a Brief View of the Hudson. Interviews with Colin Quinn, Janeane Garafolo, Mark Maron, Hannibal Buress, Wyatt Cynac, Kumail Nanjiani, Eddie Brill, and more.
