Remember last year’s “dead kid” Super Bowl ad? Well, he’s back, and now he’s super emo. 

Most people think that advertisers are going to shy away from the maudlin, cloying, and overly emotional commercials that were splashed all over last year’s Super Bowl broadcast, but I am secretly hoping that they bring back the “Dead Kid” from the Nationwide Insurance ad that bummed everyone out in the middle of their parties. Since I don’t think he’ll be back I put him in my 52 Sellout video for this week, and he’s ready to sell!

My theory is that after a full year of being dead the kid has gone full emo, so I put him in a 1990s emo band and have him singing a very angsty jingle. Enjoy!
