Every week in 2016 I’m going to try to post new advertising-related music, mostly because I think it will be fun, but also because the way advertisers use and abuse music has always fascinated me. Jingles are no longer prominent but advertisers still use the emotional language of music to try to get us to feel something about their product.
That’s what I hope to play with (and make fun of) this year. If you have any suggestions for a subject or style to tackle, let me know in the comments or at one of my social netspots!
