Lawyers advertise on TV all the time, but never like this.
After last week’s visual-intensive project animating all of the Iron Maiden album art and airplanes I decided to go for something more straightforward visually, but I didn’t skimp on the music. I had a lot of fun with this R&B tune, playing with the sound of the vocals and drums; and this piece has the best guitar solo so far in the 52 Sellout series.
I even made my own “stock photography” for the backdrop by taking a picture of the interior of a local Brooklyn bar Union Hall, where I’ve performed in the past. Here’s the original shot (which I darkened and blurred to make the backdrop):
