The Way We Were

The Way We Were has artists presenting video of themselves from at least 15 years ago and then building a new performance in which they expand, comment on, or relate to their past selves. March 22 will be a “Best of Caveat,” with a wide variety of performers who have shows at or are otherwise involved with Caveat.

Though I’m nervous about showing old performance video (I have stuff going back to the 90s!) I am very excited to be a part of this show. Caveat is a beautiful venue on the Lower East Side of NYC, where I first cut my performance teeth in NYC, and it’s where my brand new show The American Songbook: Redacted will have its first-ever preview/developmental performance on April 13.
