50 Funny Songs

One of the funnest events in the fest, 50 Funny Songs features comedians, musicians, variety acts, and more doing one short song each in rapid fire. It sounds like chaos, and it kind of is, but in a super fun way!

Comedy musicians wage an all-out assault on brunch, performing longer sets! I’ll be on at 4:30 (once people are good and plastered on mimosae and Bloody Marys) and throughout the afternoon you’ll be treated to performances by The Dreamstalks, Kelly Dwyer, Joe Kowan, Jessica Delfino, Todd Chappelle, Vigilante, and Lauren O’Brien.
Saturday, May 31
Hooklyn: Songs About Brooklyn
People’s Republic of Brooklyn
247 Smith St. Brooklyn
Mo Fathelbab and Tim Ellis conspire to share tear inducingly funny Brooklyn themed songs by Rob Paravonian, Tim Ellis, Chromatic Stampede, Jim Melloan and more. I just may have to play a certain song about a particular train…
And if all of this weren’t cool enough, Dr. Demento himself endorsed the fest! Check it out:
