I’ve been working on this album for a couple of years, in the background, recording songs as I wrote them and taking my time to get the arrangements and mixes just right. It’s one of the reasons I didn’t announce it in advance or do a fundraising campaign—I only wanted to release it when it was ready. And now that it’s done I can’t wait for you to hear it!

I put my heart, my soul, and my funny bone into this album and I think it’s some of my best work ever. I feel I really stretched musically and creatively, and I feel that I built on what I hope is a solid history of clever and insightful lyrics.
