Drink responsibly. And affordably! With Bodega Beers! Not a particular brand, just the cheapest canned beer you can afford, served in a custom paper bag to cover any identifying markings (and your shame), Bodega Beers are the ones to get when your broke self can’t afford anything else.

Since the word “bodega” (a small, neighborhood grocery store, usually in a Spanish-speaking neighborhood) comes from Spanish I decided to try a Latin sound with the music for this week. I don’t use loops or pre-packaged grooves so everything on the track was composed by yours truly. I used my trusty BFD 2 drum module and supplemented the percussion with conga, timbales, claves, and bells coming mostly from XPand2 patches. The bass and guitars were played by me, and I used a piano sound from the Mini Grand module that came with my Pro Tools setup. Hopefully the result sounds sufficiently Cuban-ish, it was definitely a lot of fun to put together.

Enjoy!
